Gibberellic Acid GA3
Commonly used in laboratory or greenhouse settings to trigger germination of seeds. Gibberellins have a number of effects on plant development. They can stimulate rapid stem and root growth, induce mitotic division in the leaves of some plants, and increase seed germination rate. Used in grape growing to induce production of larger bundles and bigger grapes. Used as a growth regulator in the cherry industry.

6-FURFURYLAMINOPURINE (KT-6)
A cytokinin type plant growth regulator. It can promote cell division, differentiation and growth, and thus enhance germination and fruit set, induce callus initiation, reduce apical dominance, break lateral bud dormancy, retard aging. It is used in agriculture.

Fumaric Acid
Used as a food additive, it is generally used as a substitute for tartaric acid and occasionally in place of citric acid. As well as being a component of some artificial vinegar flavors, such as "Salt and Vinegar" flavored potato chips, it is also used as a coagulant in stovetop pudding mixes. Also has medicinal applications.

Glycine Betaine
 Also known as Trimethylglycine. Factory farms supplement fodder with Glycine Betaine and lysine to increase livestocks' muscle mass (the amount of usable meat). Salmon farms apply Glycine Betaine to relieve the osmotic pressure on salmons' cells when workers transfer the fish from freshwater to saltwater.

Monensin
Used extensively in the beef and dairy industries to prevent coccidiosis, increase the production of propionic acid and prevent bloat.

N6-Benzyladenine
Also known as 6-Benzylaminopurine. Elicits plant growth and development responses, setting blossoms and stimulating fruit richness by stimulating cell division. Increases post harvest life of green vegetables.

Potassium Iodide (USP Grade)
Used medicinally for thyroid blockade, thyroid storm and also as an expectorant. Used as a nutritional supplement in animal feeds and the human diet (eg: table salt). Industrial uses include disinfectant, film photography, hair treatment.
